The HKUST Entrepreneurship Center ushered in the 2025–26 academic year with Entrepreneurship Week, held on 16–17 September 2025, coinciding with the debut of the GBA Entrepreneurship Exhibition. This integrated event highlighted national innovation frameworks and cross-border opportunities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, providing students with a comprehensive introduction to the Center’s robust ecosystem of entrepreneurial resources and support.

Central to the Center’s mission is the IPIC Incubation Model, guiding ventures through Ideation, Prototyping, Implementation, and Commercialization. Key programs include the HKUST Dream Builder for seed funding and coaching; the Tech-Ship Program for technology acceleration; the HKUST x HKSTP Co-Ideation Program in partnership with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks; and the GBA Youth Entrepreneurship Fund, facilitating expansion into mainland GBA markets. Complementing these are high-profile competitions such as the HKUST-SINO One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition, Hult Prize @HKUST, and the Startup World Cup Hong Kong Regional, offering platforms for global exposure, investor engagement, and substantial funding.

The event also featured practical training through Entrepreneurship 101 and specialized bootcamps focused on business model development, idea validation, pitch refinement, and MVP construction. Networking initiatives, including the Founders’ Club, Mentorship Network, and regular community events, connected participants with peers, alumni entrepreneurs, and industry mentors. The Advising Counter provided on-site, personalized guidance to help students navigate from concept to execution. Attendees enjoyed complimentary ice cream while exploring pathways to transform ideas into scalable ventures across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
