Round 2 Submission of the HKUST-Sino One-Million-Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition 2021

[ONLY for shortlisted teams in Round 2 of the HKUST-Sino One-Million-Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition 2021]

All shortlisted teams in Round 2 of the HKUST-Sino One-Million-Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition 2021 are required to confirm your team formation and submit a Product Introduction Video and Poster the Round 2 Assessment by 10 June, 23:59:59.

Please follow the steps and read the important notes below carefully before submission.

STEP 1: Confirm your team formation (Submit via EC App)

1. Team size must be between 2 to 10 AND have at least one HKUST faculty / student / alumni / staff.
2. Each participant can only join up to 1 team.
3. For team leader, please make sure all your team members are included in the team you created in the EC App. You can go to "My Team (s)" > choose the team you used for the competition to modify (i.e. adding/ removing/ replacing team members) your team. Your team name should be matched with the name on this list.
4. Both team leader and members are required an EC App account. If you don't have one yet, please follow the instruction here to register one. 
5. Once your team is ready in the EC App, team Leader should use the App to find the event “Round 2 Submission of the HKUST-Sino One-Million-Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition 2021”. Then click "Register Now" and enter the submission code to confirm your team forming. No changes will be allowed after the submission.

STEP 2: Submission of Product Introduction Video and Poster (Submit via this link)

Teams entered Round 2 are required to submit a Product Introduction Video and Poster.
Contents of the video may refer to “Product Introduction Video and Poster Guideline”.

Product Introduction Video

• Format:

1. Video Length: Up to 1 minute long
2. Language: English
3. File Format: MP4
4. File Size: Less than 200 MB
5. File Name: Your team name
6. Resolution: 720p

• The video must not infringe on any third-party rights (logos, music, intellectual property, etc.).
• The video must not contain obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, objectionable, insulting or any of the controversial and inappropriate content. HKUST Entrepreneurship Center reserve the right to remove the video with offensive contents from the website.
• All decisions made by the judging panel are final.
• Any violation of rules may result in disqualification from the competition, subject to the final discretion of HKUST Entrepreneurship Center.

Product Introduction Poster

4. Resolution: 300dpi
5. File Size: Less than 200 MB

Deadline of submission is June 10, 2021, 23:59. Teams not meeting this deadline may be disqualified.

*For those who have difficulties in uploading the video and poster, please send us a link to download your files with your team name to competition@ust.hk by the deadline. As we need the file to work with the voting system, please do not upload the video to a view sharing platform, e.g. YouTube.
