Speaker Biography - Ms. Antia Wong

Anita is one of the founding team member of Talkbox Ltd., who has been the chief architect behind all the products launched since 2009. 

She has designed and implement backend infrastructure of the world first voice messenger app Talkbox, that later has scaled up to serve millions of active users. Afterwards, her curiosity and passion continues to drive her to build impactful software products. She believes that the internet is one of the biggest gift to human that brings people together.

Being a degree holder in Bachelor of Science, Computing from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University,  Anita is the Backend Lead Engineer at Talkbox Ltd. She and her team have years of experience on coding, cloud technology, machine learning, security and more. Her products have been widely used in industries including IT, finance, retail, social and education.

Speaker Biography - Ms. Verlebie Chan

Verlebie graduated in HKUST. Verlebie is a customer engineer at Google Cloud Platform, working with digital native companies to solve their business challenges with technical solutions. Prior to that, she was a project manager and developer for regional clients at Microsoft and was leading different programs in academia and startups.

She is also a Women In Tech advocate and enjoys volunteering. She's HKUST alumni in BBA and was one of the committee for Rotaract Club. Currently, she's aping into the web3 space and working on NFT tools.
