Congratulations to APT Electronics(HKEX:2551), a venture founded by HKUST alumni Dr. David XIAO, on its successful listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Dr. David XIAO co-founded Advanced Photoelectronic at HKUST and started the business of development of LED chips and products under Entrepreneurship Program in 2003. In 2006 a subsidiary of the company, APT Electronics Limited, was established in Nansha, China. 

Now, APT Electronics is a leading company in China that provides intelligent vision products and system solutions by integrating "LED+" technologies. The business fields encompass intelligent automotive vision, high-end lighting, and advanced displays.
