Introducing Our Esteemed AIA Creator Fund Recipients

Turzo Bose: Turzo Bose, the visionary behind Seekr, has been honored for his groundbreaking work on the Intelligent Vision Aid. This device promises to dramatically improve the lives of the visually impaired by offering audio descriptions of visual scenes. It exemplifies HKUST's dedication to developing technology with a profound social impact.

Florence Chan: Florence Chan is another laudable innovator from our institution who has been recognized for her pioneering creation – a Smart Belt designed to aid navigation for the visually impaired. Her work is paving the way for new advancements in assistive technologies.

A Testament to Innovation and Social Responsibility

Both Turzo and Florence are among the five inspirational recipients who have been granted HK$1 million each by the AIA Creator Fund to advance their projects aimed at social innovation.
