A head start on the climate action entrepreneurship program! Seek for HKUST EC nomination for the Program
“Climate Action Recognition Scheme (CARS)” recognizes and invests in innovative and outstanding start-up ideas which address the UN SDG 13 - Climate Action. We provide young entrepreneurs who are determined to act on climate solutions by providing: holistic training, mentorship support, publicity and networking, fund up to HK$180,000 or other resources.
CARS 2022-23 is proudly partnering again with HKSTP IDEATION, which supports entrepreneurs to learn the fundamental skills they need to kick start the business. Teams with ideas or start-ups incorporated less than two years will be assisted for the development of prototype with extra reward up to HK$100,000 upon fulfilment of milestones.
League 1 – Idea Stage

League 2 – Scale-Up Stage
What if you have a start-up aiming to deliver a climate positive vision and you need funding. If your start-up incorporated less than three years, join Climate Action Recognition Scheme in Scale-Up Stage League to scale up your business and facilitate project implementation on combating climate change!

Nomination by HKUST EC for joining CARS 2022-23
HKUST students/ startups who are interested and would like to seek for HKUST EC nomination to the CARS 2022-23, please complete our EC Fast-track Form after completion of the official application to the program. Deadline of seeking HKUST EC nomination is on 19 Apr 2023.

全港首個以氣候行動為主題的創業培育計劃再次歸來！
「氣候行動嘉許計劃」旨在嘉許及支援回應「聯合國可持續發展目標」第13項—氣候行動的創新意念及初創企業。為有志於改善氣候問題的青年企業家提供：全面創業培訓、宣傳及交流平台、專業友師指導、高達18萬的獎金或其他資源。
2022-23年度計劃榮幸繼續得到香港科學園IDEATION計劃的支持，旨在幫助企業家掌握創業技巧、落實創新想法。但凡參加者有創新意念，或初創成立未滿兩年，只要參加CARS及完成指定進度，就可以再額外得到最多10萬的資助。
