“The adoption of Web3 has been significantly growing in recent years, but security issues are also mounting. We are looking for innovative ideas and applications to tackle the problem.
You are welcome to propose anything from digital wallet protection, malicious contract detecting system to any creative solution.”

“One of the biggest crypto exchange platforms has blown up and become insolvent. Some evidence shows that the team has mishandled its client’s assets. We are looking for innovative solutions to better monitor and manage the operation of centralized/ decentralized exchanges.
You can provide ideas that are based on but not limited to transaction monitoring systems, security systems and audit system with analytical tools.”
Theme: ESG
“Everybody loves the idea of ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance), but centralization and standardization may make ESG more costly, authoritarian and exclusionary. Decentralising authority and decision-making with diverse stakeholders to reach consensus shall enable wider and more effective ESG participation.
You are encouraged to propose any solution that can inspire the industries to start thinking and acting on ESG or assist them to do better than status quo.”
Entry Requirements
The Hackathon is open for all aspiring future entrepreneurs. Application can be made by teams of no more than 5 members.
Teams are required to submit the application form online.
After submitting the form, please also send your pitch deck to hackathon@hkdas.net for our record. Demo video is also accepted as supplementary materials.
