HKUST Start-up Fan{task}tic – an AI-based learning platform for DSE students

Founded by an HKUST sophomore from School of Engineering (SENG), Ali Shamaz, Fan{task}tic is a learning solution based on artificial intelligence and machine learning which provides over 18,000 mathematics multiple choice questions for DSE students and is expected to expand its question bank covering more subjects in future. 

Before developing this learning solution, Ali initially embarked on his entrepreneurial journey when he co-founded Phoennovation with his three partners in 2019 and received HK$100,000 funds from the HKSTP STEP Programme with his start-up project – Suit Up! – a recommendation service for Men wear.
