To demonstrate latest technologies achieved by HKUST technology start-ups (including TSSSU Awardees and E-Fund Portfolio*), focusing on BioMedical Innovation, HealthTech, Smart City & Sustainability domain, Office of Knowledge Transfer (OKT) will hold a showcase where about 30 participating companies will deliver business pitch, showcase their products and services, and network with all participants.

*Launched in 2014 by The Innovation and Technology Commission, Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU) provides funding to six universities to support their teams in starting technology businesses and commercializing their research and development results. The funding from TSSSU aims to provide better support for technology start-ups to translate new ideas into business opportunities.
The HKUST Entrepreneurship Fund (E-Fund) is a HK$50M fund committed by the University and managed by OKT, to invest in HKUST start-ups, to strengthen the promotion of entrepreneurship spirit and facilitate knowledge transfer. Since its full operation in 2020, E-Fund has invested in more than 10 start-ups, established partnerships with 20 Co-Investment Partners, and organized workshops and training for our students, alumni, and faculty members.
