Congratulations to Breer! The team, composed of four HKUST current students Anushka Purohit (Year 3, BEng), Deevansh Gupta (Year 3, BBA), Suyash Mohan (Year 4, BBA) and Naman Tekriwal (Year 2, BBA) has been shortlisted as one of the Top 8 Finalists of JUMPSTARTER IdeaPOP! (Hong Kong Student Startup Competition For Tertiary Students). The idea of Breer addresses the food waste problem by upcycling bread waste into tasty craft beer, ultimately developing a sustainable beer brand to promote environmental protection.
