Congratulations to Acesobee, a startup company founded by HKUST Alumni - Acesobee's flagship product acesome ® has won the Hong Kong ICT Award 2017 - Best Startup (Social Impact) Gold Award.
Acesobee's prize-winning product, acesome ®, is a mobile Personal Point of Care (POC) and Personal Care Plan (PCP) system which incorporates and digitizes the professional bedside nursing care plan currently used in the medical ward. It consolidates the care plan and treatment instructions to allow primary care service providers, caregivers, and caretakers to share, follow and advise the caring status and planning in order to facilitate 360-degree caring.
Albert Au, the founder of Acesobee, is giving big thanks to award organizer (HKICT) and the schools to support and share their mission in empowering #360Caring to address the social challenge in aging and long-term care. Albert encourages students in HKUST: "Look ahead the tomorrow challenges and work on the solution today!"
Acesobee is the finalist of One Million Entrepreneur Competition 2015. They also received the Bronze Award and Best Social Impact Award in HKUST A1 Startup Award 2016. Their founder Albert Au holds an MBA and a Computer Science degree from HKUST, and their senior system engineer Cheuk-yin Kwong holds a degree in Computer Engineering from HKUST.
