【 #USTentrepreneur】Browsing for the arrival time of the upcoming public transport has become a habit of Hong Kong citizens in their daily transit. SOCIF, a local startup, has leveraged the AIoT technology to develop the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) System and Passenger Counting Solution (PCS). The solutions process real-time data collected from installed GPS devices and camera sensors on the vehicles. As SOCIF offers ETA service to the public green minibusses in Hong Kong, it has drawn the attention of transit operators from other Asian countries. They are interested to deploy the technology in their public transport that involves tens of thousands of passenger transit vehicles, for example, public buses. SOCIF has also extended the application of technology to the logistics industry, including the logistic company transporting valuable goods and monitoring the driving safety of construction trucks.
