Co-founder & CEO, Allegrow Biotech Ltd
Laurence, co-founder and CEO of Allegrow Biotech, holds a BSc in Biochemistry from CUHK and a PhD in Bioengineering from HKUST. During his PhD study under Prof. Ying Chau at HKUST, Laurence explored biomaterial-based drug delivery engineering. Working alongside entrepreneurial scientists and HKUST Founder's Club fellows, Dr. Yu Yu and Dr. Langston Suen, Laurence was deeply influenced by their passion and can-do spirit. After graduation, he embarked on his own entrepreneurial journey with fellow group members to translate research from the lab to the real world. Laurence believes in the equal importance of action and thought, embracing the chaotic yet exciting startup life.
