I began my journey with Asynk back in November 2022. I'm a person who set out to collect experiences, new things that give you the adrenaline rush. I've lost count of how many of these treasures that's on the back of my mind. But soon, I realized there's a crucial element missing - social impact. In fact, I was lucky. Not long after this thought, I met several partners, where whom all have diverse skillsets that could easily make a difference in the EdTech industry. Embracing the experience, I jumped right in. One year later, this experience became the most memorable one I have banked yet, for it showed me the brutal reality of working with incompatible goals and personalities. With the end of this partnership, I went on to search for a new team for the idea, focusing on finding teammates whom I would call friends. One by one, I formed a new team with my three colleagues, and began building Asynk, and our product, Jomud, the student-career engagement tool for institutions via our native CV builder.

For job seekers, our platform offers a native CV and interview content tool that accelerates the application process through generating job-specific CV content into pre-designed CV templates. Educational institutions can utilize Jomud to gain year-round insights into student career trends and craft customized outreach messages for graduates. This innovative solution delivers substantial efficiency gains, conserving over 6,000 hours annually for career services departments. We are proud to collaborate with a number of leading educational institutions in Hong Kong, including the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Generation HK, and the Education University of Hong Kong. To date, our platform has garnered a user base of over 1,200 individuals. Asynk remains dedicated to enhancing the job search experience for our users and providing valuable insights to our institutional partners, reinforcing our position as a leader in the EdTech industry.
