I'm Ryan, the founder of CL1CK, a venture I embarked on during my college years at HKUST in 2020. Initially, we were a digital marketing company, a project that my co-founder and I, both from HKUST, started more as an experiment than a serious business venture. We operated out of Hall 7, amidst the global upheaval caused by COVID-19, which turned out to be a crucible for learning everything we could about running a business as young students. What started as a fun project quickly evolved into a passion, as we found immense joy in the process of building and growing a company from scratch. Our journey took a significant turn in 2021 when, during my third year of college, CL1CK was accepted into the Cyberport Incubation Program. This opportunity marked our transition from a service-oriented company to a software development firm. By the time I graduated in June 2022, we had successfully raised a pre-seed round with MiraclePlus, followed by another round with Iterative a year later. Since then, we've been on a continuous journey of learning, building, and pivoting. Our projects have spanned data analytics, e-commerce analytics and predictions, B2B sales, and most recently, HRTech. As a founder, my ambition is to leverage technology to bring innovation to traditional industries, enhancing their efficiency and transforming the way they operate.
