I got my PhD degree in the mechanical department of HKUST in 2021, and since then I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with my colleagues fueled by our passion for revolutionizing healthcare diagnostics. Founding a startup dedicated to developing point-of-care devices using CRISPR and microfluidics, we aimed to make diagnostics accessible to everyone. Inspired by the transformative power of these cutting-edge technologies, I envisioned a future where individuals could easily and affordably access accurate and timely medical information, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status.
Company Description
Combining the precision of CRISPR gene-editing technology with the versatility of microfluidics, our team at the startup is committed to pushing the boundaries of point-of-care diagnostics. We believe that early and accurate detection of diseases can significantly improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. By miniaturizing laboratory-grade tests into portable devices, we aim to empower individuals and communities to take control of their health.
