Empowering the Next Generation of Social Entrepreneurs: Highlights from the AUA-HKUST Entrepreneurship Bootcamp 2024 Across Asia
The Bootcamp brought together 44 aspiring students from 14 universities across Asia for an intensive 7-day program at HKUST campus in Hong Kong.
This year's bootcamp focused on social entrepreneurship, equipping the participants with critical skills in design thinking, pitching, and business modeling. Attendees also gained valuable insights into Hong Kong's vibrant startup ecosystem through:
- Entrepreneurial workshops covering design thinking, pitching, and the Business Model Canvas
- Site visit WEEE Park to learn about electronic waste sustainability initiatives in Hong Kong
- Networking with startups and ecosystem players at HKSTP.
The bootcamp was generously sponsored by the Chan Dang Social Services Foundation, providing these aspiring social entrepreneurs with an invaluable opportunity to kickstart their journeys. It is believed that the dedication and innovative ideas showcased by the participants will bring positive social impact in the communities.
