Ken Yung founded GoByBus.hk in 2018, Hong Kong's first and only intercity coach platform, with the vision to make intercity transportation easier for locals and tourists in Asia Pacific. He is also the advisor of Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation Centre of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, which is dedicated to support startups and encourage innovation and collaborations among youngsters. Ken started his career in PCCW Solutions as a Solution Consultant, and joined Hang Seng Bank as a Management Trainee after a year. During his time in Hang Seng Bank, he has extensive exposure in cross-border payment, financial compliance, equity settlement, banking operations, corporate real estate, etc; he has led the development of Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, Cross-border Inter-bank Payment System for the bank, and in charge of the outsourcing of Facilities Management function. He received his secondary education in St. Louis School, and obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with Information Systems and Management Majors in HKUST. He also spent a semester in IESEG School of Management in France, and a semester in Xian Jiaotong University in China as an exchange student during the study in HKUST.

Incorporating both proprietary data and information from the operators, together with the use of station photos and Geographical Information System, we help passengers to find their ideal route and schedule. Our effort in the promotion of QR code ticket enabled customers to get their ticket online and on board the bus directly, at the same time we improved the efficiency and revenue of the operators. Furthermore, the use of big data and artificial intelligence allows passengers to have more confidence and control of their journey. GoByBus.hk is also the exclusive partner of several digital wallets to provide intercity coach ticketing service inside their mobile application, to further expand the use of digital payment and facilitate the development of smart city.
