Company Description
Lumos was founded in Boston by a group of passionate cyclists who wanted to solve a problem they were experiencing in their own lives. Lumos invented the world's smartest bike helmet, Kickstart, back in 2015. The Kickstart helmet integrated LED lights are powerfully bright, making it impossible for drivers to miss you on the road. Lumos continues to build on the success of Kickstart and launched another two iconic helmets, Matrix and Ultra which are all best sellers in the smart helmet space. In 2023, Lumos launched another smart bike accessory called Lumos Firefly and received another sensational success on Kickstarter raising over 1.3M USD from backers all over the world.
All Lumos products can be connected wirelessly and form the Lumos smart safety system. The Lumos smart safety system is built to work in harmony as a singular unified ecosystem, providing visibility, predictability, and safety. Lumos' vision is to make products that protect and allow cyclists to move freely, without hesitation.
