Kelvin Tsui is a dedicated social entrepreneur and sustainability advocate in Hong Kong. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he sees the surge in the need for takeaway food and and the subsequent increase in plastic packaging waste. Motivated by the need for change, he founded ReCube and currently serves as the CEO of the startup. Kelvin holds a bachelor's degree with a major in Quantitative Finance from HKUST. Alongside his entrepreneurial pursuits, he actively contributes to various youth-focused initiatives. He serves as the Youth Representative in the Council of YMCAs of Hong Kong. Furthermore, He is a YDC Youth Ambassador and Committee Member of Youth Link (連青人網絡) for the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau of the HKSAR Government.

Company Description

ReCube stands for -Reuse x Reward x Reduce. We provide a Reusable tableware rental service that is convenient and easy, a Reward program that saves cost and increases revenue, to Reduce disposable tableware waste at source. We provide restaurants with an efficient, standardised, and profitable reusable tableware solution. Diners can borrow and return it at any partner restaurant with ReCube App. They can also get discounts through our reward program. We help partner restaurants save costs on disposable tableware while bringing valuable exposure and traffic. ReCube has been officially launched in March 2023. In less than a year, it has attracted 13 partner restaurants to use and reduce 5000+ disposable tableware waste. ReCube also launched a TestBed pilot project in HKSTP. We hope to make reuse convenient for diners, make restaurants profitable, and enable Hong Kong to achieve the goal of "double carbon" and achieve Win³ triple win.
