Jack CHEN

Mr. Jack Chen is a serial entrepreneur in the Fintech, Blockchain and Biotech space. Jack has co-founded many startups in Hong Kong and GBA areas. He has co-founded the city's first smart coins machine network---HEYCOINS, allowing users to convert their physical coins into digital currency in their e-wallets, vouchers, or tokens. He has also co-founded Asia's first pay-as-you-go insurtech firm---HEYBO, invested by a global insurance firm, in this startup we enable people to activate/deactivate microinsurance through our app wherever and whenever they want. While is Jack was doing his MPhil study at HKUST he became passionate about blockchain technology, he then co-founded Moon Lab together with a few HKUST alumni, offering a series of blockchain as a service product aiming to bring blockchain technology massively adopted by the general public. Jack received his bachelor's degree in Risk Management from Lingnan University, MPhil degree from HKUST, he was also a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
