Introduction

Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association is the main organizer of the regional competitions of two most prominent and widely recognized national innovation and entrepreneurship competitions for tertiary students, including, (1) the China College Students’ “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the Ministry of Education; and (2) the “Challenge Cup” National College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Contest organized by the Committee of the Communist Youth League of China.

Every year, our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre are responsible for selecting the most outstanding projects to represent Hong Kong in the aforementioned national stages, exposing talented Hong Kong students to cutting-edge innovative and entrepreneurship ideas and inspiring them with academic exchange among the brightest students nationwide. Through this eye-opening, first-hand experience, it is hoped that students could further develop their potential, sharpen their presentation and interpersonal skills and become future innovation and entrepreneurship leaders.

A. Innovation

Format :	Research Thesis / Invention
Category :	Life Sciences Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering Information Technology Mathematics and Physics / Mechanics and Control Systems
Eligibility :	Full time diploma, higher diploma, associate’s, bachelor’s, MPhil-PhD articulated programmers, master’s or doctoral degree students.(On-job postgraduates exclusive) For Entrepreneurship enrollment with registered company, welcome the Projects from Graduated ≤ 5 years or Cooperative Projects of teachers and students
No. of Participants :	Individual / Team Project (no restriction on the number of people) Members could be from different institutes, but the institution of the team leader will represent the whole team when taking part in the Regional /National Competition

B. Entrepreneurship

Awards

There is one grand award in each category of entrepreneurship, and each group has one first prize, three second prizes, four third prizes, and an honorable mention. All winners will receive a certificate.

Winners of the special, first, second, and third prizes will be awarded a trophy each.
There is an award for outstanding organization in the competition.
Award-winning projects have the opportunity to be selected to form the “Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Representative Team” to participate in national authoritative competitions such as the “Challenge Cup,” “China International college students’s innovation competition” .

The total cash prize value is over HKD$500,000 sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong)
