ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The 1.5°C Summit - a conference organized by New World Development and their open innovation platform Eureka Nova - and would like to invite anyone who is interested in learning about the trends and technologies related to sustainability to join us.

Limiting global warming to 1.5°C could lead to rapid and large-scale reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. To prevent the planet from passing the point of no return, this is the defining decade.

This year, the 1.5°C Summit will be hosted in a hybrid format and will be a day one event for StartmeupHK Festival 2022. The summit will cover a wide variety of topics such as net-zero electricity innovation, greener transport solutions and green buildings, showcasing how various industries and startup players are leveraging technology and innovation to help reduce the impacts of climate change and create a more sustainable future.
