In these two workshops, you will get your hands dirty and learn how to produce and edit your own short movies, video pitches, or YouTube vlogs from scratch.

26 Nov – Video Production Workshop

• Writing a compelling story
• Shooting good looking footage

27 Nov – Video Editing Workshop

• Basic Editing Principles
• Introduction to Adobe Premiere Rush (a video editing software)
• Follow Editing Scenarios to Create Your Clips
• Expand Your Creativity

Time: 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Location: Online via Zoom or In-Person (quota of 15) at BASE (1/F, Lift 29-30)

About the Instructor - Dr. Jasper van Holsteijn

• Qualified facilitator who received training from the Teaching and Learning Studio from the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.School) at Stanford University
• PhD in Comparative Literature (Film Studies)
• Experienced in teaching at leading universities worldwide

What to Prepare

• Adobe Premiere Rush (the free version can be used to export videos 3 times)
