Are you a budding entrepreneur? Want to know more about starting your own business and find like-minded folks who fit the bill?   Join us with our Tech-Ship Awardee, Agrifuture HK Limited,  as they will share with us their entrepreneurship journey with the Tech-Ship program.

We have also invited some of our HKUST researchers to introduce their technologies for potential partnership with students as well.

Friday Dreamer Series aims to provide a relaxed and interactive environment where entrepreneurs can share their experience on various topics in entrepreneurship and start-up businesses, as well as to cultivate a start-up community on our campus. Students, alumni, faculty and staff from ALL disciplines are welcome.

Agrifuture HK Limited

AgriFutureHK innovates in indoor farming with cutting-edge tech to solve urban farming woes like high costs, poor designs, and uneven yields. UsingControlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), they deliver efficient, modular solutions with LED lights, HVAC, and grow racks. Their precision tech usesspectral sensors and NPAg sheets to track N, P, K levels live. An IoT platform controls light, nutrients, airflow, and temp, boosting efficiency. Backed byHKUST researchers, they target data-driven optimization and automation by 2027 for sustainable farming.

  3. Please only register when you can make sure your presence. To ensure the efficiency of the event, a black list treatment will be deployed, lowering their priority in our following event.
  4. This is a recognized event in the “Personal Enrichment & Community Service" category under the "Self-directed Experience" of HMAW1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. To receive 1.5 hours, you must attend the event in full and miss no more than 10 mins. Students of HMAW1905 must register with their ITSC email.
