Speaker:

Ryan NG
Co-founder, Hyele Limited

During my final year project, Prof. Moez LOUATI is my supervisor. After a year of graduation, with the knowledge of the smart Urban Water Supply System (UWSS), Prof. LOUATI invited me to found a startup with him in Jun 2023. With an interest in entrepreneurship and innovative technology, I decided to quit my job and join the enterprise. Our objective is to commercialize the research result and provide a non-intrusive, non-disruptive, and accurate condition assessment technology to the market.

Company Description:

Hyele Limited

Urban pipeline systems are vital, large, long-lived, complex, largely inaccessible, and aging, fraught with deficiencies and inefficiencies that result in massive lost water resources and energy use. Thus, they present an enormous challenge to making cities sustainable, adaptive and carbon neutral. Hyele provides accurate and cutting-edge technology for urban water pipeline system (UWPS) that improves all stages of UWPS management— from first design to superior operational performance and extended system life. UWPS span the water supply, sewage rising mains, building pipes, district cooling system and any other pressurized pipelines. Hyele’s vision: “Acquiring and applying knowledge for the benefit of society.” Hyele’s missions: 1. Contributing to making cities sustainable, adaptive and carbon neutral. 2. Assist in meeting water-loss-reduction and net-zero targets. 3. Paving the path towards an intelligent industry.
