In pace with the economy gradually recovering from the pandemic and global integration, it is an excellent time to explore the opportunities to expand the global footprint of your start-up and business. An hour introduction of the updated policies and programs for supporting start-ups and early stages of SMEs will organize on 9th June 2022 from 09:30 am – 11:00 am. We are honored to invite Malissa Eaddy, International Investment Service Specialist and Portfolio Manager of Northeast Asia, SelectUSA, to share the policies, programs, and success stories of the start-up's expanding footprint in the U.S

Ms. Malissa Eaddy| International Investment Service Specialist and Portfolio Manager of Northeast Asia, SelectUSA.

Speaker Biography

Malissa Eaddy is the International Investment Service Specialist and Portfolio Manager of Northeast Asia at SelectUSA. In this role, Malissa works with Commercial Service officers and Locally Engaged Staff from the U.S. Embassies and Consulates in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. She provides general guidance for companies interested in investing their business in the United States. Coordinates events with Commercial Service officers and provides connections for companies to be introduced to Economic Development Organizations (EDOs). SelectUSA works with the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service and with entities across the U.S. government to facilitate job-creating business investment into the United States.  SelectUSA also works to raise awareness of the critical role that economic development plays in the U.S. economy.   

Prior to Malissa joining SelectUSA, she was a Locally Engaged Staff at the Embassy of Japan, Washington D.C. as a Jr. Trade Analyst. Malissa holds two MAs in Foreign Policy and Trade Analysis, as well as Japanese and Chinese Language and Culture studies.
