Social Entrepreneurship Exchange (SEE@theBASE) is an array of events held at theBASE on 17 to 18 Oct 2022, initiated by HKUST Entrepreneurship Center and the seven awarded projects funded by Chan Dang Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Award. With the SEE@theBASE, social innovators would raise out the founded societal issues and their solutions to solve these problems. HKUST members are welcome to join the sharing and workshops initiated by the student social innovators. SEE you @theBASE to exchange ideas and build a sustainable community together!
Objectives
- Raise the awareness of social innovation on camps
- Allow interested students to exchange and form social innovation community
- Identify societal issues for further development
- Promote HKUST social innovation projects and test market

Talk: Daily Upcycling Ideas That Will Turn Your Trash Into TreasuresIn Hong Kong, a significant amount of ugly food (like deformed vegetables and bruised fruits) are wasted everyday. The environmental and cost-saving benefits of reducing food waste are clear. NOP’s Founder Fioni will follow by sharing how potential food waste can be upcycled. |
