After over 10 years in various roles in financial services in different markets around the world, and after a great business education at HKUST, I decided to move home to London and set up an investment research company at the end of 2018. I saw a gap in the market and I had the skills and contacts to build this business, so I decided to do it, leveraging new technologies and distribution platforms to help me. I studied Investment and Financial Risk Management with a Replacement Year Abroad (in Hong Kong) in my undergraduate degree in London, and Financial Analysis for my masters degree at HKUST. I worked for an investment bank, trading firms and an investment firm and completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program before starting my founder journey. I am also a non-executive director of climate finance start-up Valor Carbon, a member of the board of governors at Barnet and Southgate College in London, and an active volunteer at the CFA Society United Kingdom.
Company Description
Streater Research is an independent, investor paid, investment research firm. Our initial focus is on the energy sector, but we plan to grow to cover more sectors over time. Our competitive advantage is that we are independent and having worked in portfolio management myself, I know exactly what our portfolio manager clients really need.
