LUO Meimei, the CMO and co-founder of HK Raybotics Limited. Our entrepreneurial journey started in February 2025, originating from the Final Year Project (FYP) of the HKUST MSc in Technology Leadership and Entrepreneurship (TLE) program. After in-depth market research and technical validation, the three co-founders decided to leverage our respective expertise to create an innovative underwater robotic solution for safer, smarter and more sustainable underwater operations. HK Raybotics Limited was officially founded in September 2025. As CMO, I lead core commercial and strategic work: I conducted in-depth interviews with over 50 industry stakeholders including CNOOC project leaders and Yantai marine ranch experts, completed competitive analysis via SWOT, and validated a niche market size of over $6 billion. I also drafted and iterated more than 100 versions of business plans (over 500 pages total), and formulated the company’s market strategy. In external relations, I spearheaded the MOU signing with Hong Kong-listed Yun Lee Marine Group and promoted government collaboration projects.

HK Raybotics Limited is a pioneering tech firm dedicated to developing quasi-industrial underwater robotic solutions to replace high-risk commercial diving. Our flagship product RAY integrates a remotely operated vehicle (ROV), 360° dexterous robotic arms, and interchangeable yieldable end-tools, forming an all-scenario underwater operation platform.
