Kalvin NG
CEO, FireAlert Limited
I’m Kalvin Ng. I’m a tech enthusiast with a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology for Business from Coventry University, complemented by Stanford’s online course in Artificial Intelligence. Currently, I’m a full-time student pursuing an MSc in Information Systems Management at HKUST Business School (2025–26). My journey as a founder began in 2021, while I was still an undergraduate. Alongside my partner, we applied for a seed fund and were successfully awarded it. That milestone gave us the confidence to establish our own startup, and I became a co-founder—balancing entrepreneurship with my studies. With five years of experience in mobile app development, I brought both technical skills and a problem-solving mindset to the venture. Outside of work and academics, I enjoy playing football and watching movies. These hobbies keep me energized and help me maintain a healthy balance between discipline and creativity. I’m passionate about leveraging technology to build meaningful solutions, and I look forward to growing further as a founder and tech professional.
