Congratulations to AQUMON for winning the Best Solution Award in the Blue Innovation Challenge 2020 receiving a joint prize of HK$600,000 with other two winning teams.

Blue Innovation Challenge 2020 aims to create a platform where startups can unleash their creativity and develop bold and innovative technology solutions to challenge the status quo of the financial industry. AQUMON stood out from 48 startup teams with their automated wealth management solutions to both institutional and individual clients. With their cutting-edged algorithms, investing is easier, simpler and more affordable.

“We're ecstatic for winning this string of recent awards and thankful for everyone, which certainly includes HKUST, for helping us along the way. HKUST was instrumental for incubating AQUMON from the beginning.” said Mr. Kenneth Shih, Head of Sales & Marketing of AQUMON.

He encouraged HKUST students, “Most people often only see and focus on the result but my suggestion is for all students aspiring to achieve greater things in life and their career to love the process. Motivation, in order to be sustainable, needs to come from within. Your moment of glory will come, but patience and preparation are needed to achieve this.”
