The GSEA is a prestigious global competition that empowers student entrepreneurs by connecting them with mentors, recognition, and a powerful network of changemakers. Since 1998, it has helped young innovators elevate their startups and gain international exposure.
We are proud to share that three founders from HKUST-incubated startups were recently shortlisted to compete in the China round for a chance to advance to the APAC regional competition!

Congratulations to Struan Gerard Dsouza from Cresento.HK, a sports tech startup developing smart shin pads for football players. Struan impressed the judges with his outstanding pitch and promising business model—earning second place and securing a spot in the upcoming APAC round!
Also representing HKUST were LIU Xu from Meander Tech Limited and Sabrina Chu from PetWell HK, who made it to the final round in Shanghai, showcasing their ventures with passion and professionalism. Their participation opened doors to connect with brilliant minds, collaborating with other young entrepreneurs and experienced professionals from the Entrepreneurs' Organization.
A big thank you to the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, especially the Shenzhen chapter, for their support and for creating these incredible opportunities for our student founders.
We look forward to seeing HKUST students continue to shine on the global stage!
