Despite the unprecedented challenges in 2019 and 2020, HKUST Entrepreneurship Center (EC) has strived to provide comprehensive supports and diverse events to add value on your entrepreneurial journeys. Here's the Annual Report of HKUST 2019 - 2020 which highlights the contributions and achievements on university development, including knowledge transfer and entrepreneurial development of HKUST start-ups.

Achievement Highlights that involved EC's effort:

• Has transferred knowledge and technology to industry through 147 inventions disclosed and 874 cumulative active granted patent applications  (Page 4)
• Has supported 47 HKUST start-ups at HKSTP, which is recorded as one of the local higher educational organizations with the highest participation rate  (Page 5)
• Has incubated 229 start-ups and spin-off companies by HKUST (Page 5)
• Has granted HKD 2.4 million funding to aspiring HKUST entrepreneurs to nurture their start-up businesses  (Page 5)
• 3,340 participants engaged in EC seminars and workshops  (Page 6)
