The "The Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Exchange Tour," organized by the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center, concluded successfully on April 21. The tour aimed to provide more support and services for young people interested in innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area, as well as deepened HKUST students’ understanding of the region's industrial development dynamics and entrepreneurial environment.

The group of 40 visited several science and technology innovation platforms of HKUST in the Mainland, including the HKUST Foshan Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization, HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute, Hong Kong & Macao (International) Youth Entrepreneurship Hub, HKUST (Guangzhou), HKUST Shenzhen Research Institute, VTech Research & Development Centre, and HKUST SZ-HK Collaborative Innovation Research Institute. Through on-site visits and exchanges, participants gained a deeper understanding of the emerging industries and enterprise development processes in the Greater Bay Area.

They learned about the challenges and successful experiences of HKUST alumni who started businesses in the area, providing valuable reference experiences for their future entrepreneurial paths.

This event successfully inspired the participants' entrepreneurial spirit and provided them with an understanding of market opportunities and challenges, enhancing their grasp of entrepreneurship. The exchange platform also injected new vitality into the innovation and development of HKUST, promoting youth entrepreneurship in Hong Kong.

2023年4月20日至21日，由香港科技大學創業中心主辦的「躍創大灣區青年創業考察交流團」圓滿結束。是次活動以香港科技大學（下稱：科大）的學生們深入了解大灣區的產業發展動態和創業環境為目的，為有志於創業的年輕人們提供更多大灣區創新創業的支援和服務。 

「躍創大灣區青年創業考察交流團」一行40人，拜訪了多個科大於內地的科創平台，包括香港科技大學(佛山)科技成果轉化中心、香港科技大學霍英東研究院、粵港澳（國際）青年創新工場、香港科技大學（廣州）、香港科技大學深圳研究院、Vtech偉易達研發大樓、香港科技大學深港協同創新研究院。通過現場參觀和交流，參加者們對大灣區的新興產業以及企業發展過程有更深刻的體會，了解科大校友在大灣區創業時遇到的挑戰和成功經驗，能夠為參加者們豐富知識，也為他們將來的創業之路提供了寶貴的參考經驗。 

此次活動成功地激發了參加者的創業精神，讓他們了解到市場的機遇和挑戰，增進了對創業的理解和掌握，為科大年輕人們提供了一個深入交流的平台，也為香港科技大學的創新發展和推動青年創業注入了新的活力。
