“HKUST IT Pavilion” in the Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival (HKCCF) 2022 is going to be held during 19 - 22 Aug 2022 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre!
“HKUST IT Pavilion” is being coordinated by the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center (EC) and the Festival organizer to support HKUST IT-related startups’ participation in this large event.
EC will subsidise the IT startup company joining the “HKUST IT Pavilion” with other support as detailed below:
The Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival (HKCCF) 2022
Date: 19 – 22 August 2022 (Friday – Monday)
Venue: Hall 1, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
Time: 19 – 21 August 10am to 7pm, 22 August 10am to 6pm
Booth offer: HK$10,360 Standard booth (2.5x3m)
Funding Support:
1. HKCCF 2022 is eligible for SME Export Marketing Fund – 50% of the standard booth offer
(The maximum amount of funding support for each successful application is 50% of the total approved expenditure incurred by the applicant enterprise or $100,000, whichever is the less. Please refer to https://www.smefund.tid.gov.hk/english/emf/emf_update.html for more details on the eligibility and application procedures. Participating teams will have to submit the application to The Trade and Industry Department by themselves.)
2. Subsidy by HKUST Entrepreneurship Center — HK$5,000 / team
(Each team will receive a subsidy of HK$5,000 from Entrepreneurship Center as an encouragement and support to further develop in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation, technopreneurship. The team will have to submit (i) Copy of receipts of payment for the standard booth to be issued by the Festival organizer; (ii) 10 photos of your booth or participation throughout four days of the event. Application details will be circulated to the exhibiting teams at later stage.
For those teams joining the HKCCF HKUST Pavilion, will also have a chance to receive the below privilege:
- Business matching opportunities
- Involvement in the programme of the festival
- Media exposure and publicity
