Our talented students brought home a total of 13 prestigious awards, showcasing HKUST’s leadership in deep tech, robotics, and sustainability.

International Dominance:
Global Grand Champion & Gold Medal at the World of Science and Global Invention (WoSG) 2025 (Singapore): Awarded to the "Silica Capsule Technology Defining Low-Carbon Lifestyle" project. ESGuardian Ltd

Best International Invention & Innovation Award & Gold Medal at Indonesia Inventors Day (IID) - World Invention Science Fair (WISF) 2025: Awarded to the "Marine Life and Environmental Monitoring Based on Collaborative Heterogeneous Multi-Robots" project.

National Excellence:
In the China International College Students' Innovation Competition 2025, our teams secured 1 Gold (for the Biomimetic Compound Eye Visual-Tactile Sensor), 2 Silvers, and 2 Bronzes. 

In the 19th "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, we secured 1 First Prize ArtInSight Limited, 2 Second Prizes and 1 Third Prize covering robotics, XR emotion understanding, and AI psychotherapy.
