On 24 March 2026, the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center hosted the Mentorship Network: Speed Matching session, bringing together experienced mentors and aspiring mentees for an evening of in-depth conversations, practical learning, and high-impact networking.

The event utilized a speed matching format, allowing each mentee to engage in focused, one-to-one advising sessions with various mentors. This structured approach enabled student founders to gather actionable guidance on critical startup topics, ranging from refining business models to mastering go-to-market strategies.

A prominent highlight of the evening was a dedicated sharing session by mentor Mr. Patrick C.S. Fan. He shared his professional expertise on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools in startup development, providing participants with a clear and practical roadmap for integrating modern technology to scale their businesses efficiently.

The relationships sparked during this speed matching event serve as the foundation for ongoing collaboration. To ensure mentees continue to grow with confidence and clarity, the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center offers the Monthly Business Clinic. These recurring sessions are designed to provide consistent, high-touch support, offering founders a dedicated space to troubleshoot challenges and stress-test their ideas with seasoned experts on a monthly basis.

The HKUST Entrepreneurship Center extends its sincere gratitude to all participating mentors and mentees for their commitment, and looks forward to further strengthening the university's collaborative startup community in future events.
