HKUST Entrepreneurship Center organized an online seminar "Open API Technology & Entrepreneurial Journey Sharing" on 17 Mar, 2020.

During the seminar, the CEO & founder of beNovelty Limited (https://www.benovelty.com), Mr. Patrick Fan, shared about the trend and technology challenges of Open APIs (or Application Programming Interface), and his entrepreneurial journey in converting 10 years Enterprise Consulting experience to 5 years of successful Entrepreneurship. 190 students attended the online seminar and they found the sharing inspiring.

Patrick Fan is a HKUST Computer Engineering (2007) alumni and currently the CEO & founder of beNovelty Limited - an award-winning API company in Hong Kong. After graduated from HKUST, Patrick started his enterprise consulting career in IBM as Trainee. With exceptional track records in technology leadership, Patrick was recognised as "IBM Outstanding Contributor" and "IBM Redbooks Thought Leader" in 2014.
