Congratulations to HKUST student team Dash, for being awarded as Third Prize in Huawei ICT Competition 2022 and winning an additional HK$18,000.

Team Dash was formed by Year 2 SENG student KUI Ka Yu, WONG Hoi Chun and Year 4 SBM student WONG Hor Kei.

KUI Ka Yu said they had learnt a lot about said concepts in depth holistically, which is very useful for understanding how different components of ICT interact with each other and empower modern-day technology solutions. And they planned to continue equipping themselves with more theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the ICT field in hopes of becoming competitive candidates in the field of technology and innovation.

Huawei ICT Competition is a competitive ICT talent exchange event developed by Huawei for global college students. To promote the healthy development of the ICT talent ecosystem and support the integration of industry and education, Huawei invites Huawei ICT Academy and universities with relevant majors to participate in the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023.
