HKUST Entrepreneurship Center recently concluded the inaugural edition of “From Vision to Venture,” an advanced entrepreneurship training series designed specifically for startup founders and C-level teams participating in the IPIC Incubation.

Launched as part of our continuous effort to nurture entrepreneurial excellence, the program targets early-stage teams led by Founders, CEOs, CTOs, and CPOs. Its objective is to help these teams evolve from product-focused builders into strategic business leaders capable of scaling sustainable, impactful ventures.

The month-long training was facilitated by William Kwan, a seasoned venture architect with over 30 years of experience transforming startups into high-growth companies. Through eight hands-on sessions, the participating 13 startups gained actionable insights through:

  • High-impact workshops tailored to core leadership and startup growth challenges
  • Structured modules on business modelling, go-to-market strategies, investor readiness, and operational scalability
  • Targeted, real-time feedback based on each team’s context and business stage
  • In-depth exploration of pricing strategy, product positioning, and leadership development
  • Participants emerged with a stronger foundation in long-term decision-making, strategic clarity, and the tools necessary for sustainable growth.

“From Vision to Venture” is a key initiative under the IPIC startup lifecycle – Ideation → Prototyping → Implementation → Commercialization – supporting the transformation of early-stage ideas into market-ready ventures.

HKUST Entrepreneurship Center congratulates all the participating teams for their commitment to innovation and their drive to lead purposeful, scalable companies.
