ZhenFund was founded in 2011 by Bob Xiaoping Xu and Victor Wang. It is the first early-stage fund in China focusing on angel rounds. It seeks outstanding entrepreneurs in the fields of future technology, artificial intelligence, enterprise services, medical health, large consumption, and mobile internet. It now has a network of over 800 portfolio companies with more than 30 unicorns and 16 listed companies, including Xiaohongshu, Nuro, Yitu Technology, Horizon Robotics, Momenta, Enflame Technology, Hesai Technology, XtalPi, AutoX, SmartMore, Yatsen Holding, and Deep Glint Technology. ZhenCampus by ZhenFund aims to get acquainted with alumni/researchers with interests in entrepreneurship and a willingness to commercialize their lab technology. ZhenFund Co-founder Victor Wang

Mr. Victor Wang is the Co-founder of ZhenFund. Prior to ZhenFund, he was a Co-founder of New Oriental Education (NYSE:EDU), the largest provider of private education in China. He is a Foundation Fellow from the Harris Manchester College of Oxford University. He received an M.S. in Computer Science from the State University of New York and a B.A. in English from Peking University.

 

PeroPure Founder Zhihua Chen

Dr. Zhihua Chen received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and published papers that won the Top Ten Annual Papers of Reaction Chemistry & Engineering for his research on the applications of electrocatalytic reactors. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with the Dean's Honors List, a B.S. in Chemistry, and a double major in Economics. He was also awarded the C.K.Leung Awards for Academic Achievement and Douglas Payne Prizes in Chemistry.

 

PeroPure, founded in Silicon Valley in 2019, is a technology company specializing in air and water disinfection equipment with an ElectroPero™ patented by Stanford University. It utilizes an electrochemical redox method that makes air and water react in real-time to generate hydrogen peroxide, enabling users to effectively kill viruses, bacteria, and organic pollution on the surface and in the air.

 

SmartMore Co-founder Ruiyu Li

Dr. Ruiyu Li received a Ph.D. in Computer Vision from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and was a Senior Researcher at Tencent. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from Sun Yat-sen University. During his Ph.D., he published several top conference papers.

 

SmartMore is one of the fastest growing vision companies providing all-in-one solutions for smart manufacturing and digital experience industries in the era of global economics. SmartMore took the lead in the industry to facilitate software and hardware integrated products.
