CEO & CO-Founder of chargespot
A dynamic individual, Jess's journey embodies a relentless pursuit of exploration, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. She laid the foundation for her professional journey with an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management from HKUST in 2005. Her career trajectory began with the Management Trainee Program at L’Oreal Hong Kong, where she excelled in sales and marketing for the Japanese beauty brand Shu Uemura.
Driven by an insatiable thirst for new challenges, she transitioned seamlessly between roles and industries, from managing advertising and promotions for the brand Columbia Sportswear at Swire Resources, to spearheading the launch of a luxury French beauty brand La Biosthetique in Hong Kong and mainland China. Yet, amidst her success, she harbored a desire for greater autonomy and innovation.
In 2017, Jess seized the opportunity to embark on a new venture, co-founding ChargeSpot — the world’s first transnational power bank sharing service provider, with over 3500 spots in Hong Kong and over 45000 spots worldwide. She played a pivotal role in driving the company's success in Hong Kong as the market leader and expansion across Asia, from Hong Kong to Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. ChargeSpot achieved remarkable milestones, culminating in its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2022.
Throughout her journey, Jess remains steadfast in her belief that life is too short to be confined by the status quo. Her entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with a relentless pursuit of excellence, she remains committed to making a meaningful impact on society, leveraging ChargeSpot's success to drive positive change. As she charts the course for ChargeSpot's future growth and success, Jess's ultimate goal is to inspire a new generation of leaders and innovators to embrace curiosity, creativity, and resilience in the pursuit of their dreams. With her visionary leadership and unwavering determination, Jess continues to forge a future of boundless possibilities, and inviting all to "Power the World."
