Company Description
Shenzhen Fortsense Co., Ltd. was founded in 2017, based on a team with more than 20 years of rich industrial technology accumulation in the field of human-computer interaction chips.
It is a National Specialized "Little Giant" Enterprise, a National High-tech Enterprise, and the first completion organization of the second prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2022. The single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) device jointly developed by Fortsense and the world-class foundry is currently the world's most sensitive and high-performance silicon-based device type. It enables a wide range of applications in LiDAR, low-light imaging, and medical equipment.
As a leading company in the SPAD chip industry, Fortsense, for the first time, launched and mass-produced the large-array SPAD-SOC LiDAR receiver chip for self-driving cars, robots and drones in the industry. It has cooperated with many customers to achieve mass production of cost-effective Solid-state LiDAR that promote the technological and social progress.
