
The HKUST Entrepreneurship Center proudly marked the culmination of the 15th Anniversary HKUST-SINO One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition on its Grand Finale. This milestone edition attracted a record 348 teams from 22 countries and regions across five continents, vying for over HK$1 million in prizes. Over the past 15 years, more than 2,200 teams have participated in this esteemed platform, which has evolved into a global catalyst for entrepreneurial excellence and societal impact.

Rooted in Clear Water Bay and connected to the world, the competition continues to serve as a premier arena for fostering innovation, cross-cultural collaboration, and transformative solutions. We extend our deepest gratitude to our distinguished VIPs, judges, donors, sponsors, and alumni founders whose unwavering support elevated this anniversary celebration.

The competition recognized outstanding achievements across two tracks. In the HKUST Track, gold was awarded to Stellerus Technology Limited for its AI-based meteorological technology; silver to SmartPath for AI-powered cancer diagnostics; and bronze to Lulusmiles Medical Technology Limited for AI-driven orthodontics solutions. In the International Student Track, gold went to Envirovex (United Kingdom); silver to MaternaSense (United States); and bronze to BACKEER (Kazakhstan). 
This year’s submissions addressed pressing global challenges in artificial intelligence, sustainability, health technology, women’s empowerment, and ESG principles, exemplifying the profound influence of youth-led innovation.
