Company Introduction
Orange Square is a Seoul-based fintech company pioneering the digital transformation of travel in Korea through its flagship platform, WOWPASS. Designed for international visitors, WOWPASS integrates currency exchange, payments, and transportation into one unified prepaid card and mobile wallet—eliminating the language, banking, and payment barriers that travelers often face. From airports and hotels to metro stations and convenience stores, WOWPASS empowers millions of visitors to explore Korea seamlessly.
Since its debut, WOWPASS has become the nation’s leading travel-fintech super-app, serving more than 2.5 million users and facilitating over USD 1 billion in transactions. Building on this foundation, Orange Square is expanding its ecosystem into e-commerce, travel concierge, and social services—bridging the worlds of K-beauty, K-medical, and K-culture into a single digital experience.
In 2024, the company received strategic investment from JYP Entertainment, one of Korea’s top K-POP agencies, reinforcing its vision to connect financial services with culture, lifestyle, and entertainment. To date, Orange Square has raised over USD 12 million (KRW 16 billion) from leading venture capital firms including Mirae Asset Ventures, IMM Investment, and Korea Investment Partners.
Now preparing for a KOSDAQ IPO in 2026–2027, Orange Square is scaling across Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, advancing toward its mission to build Asia’s first truly borderless “K-SuperApp”—a platform that empowers global travelers to discover, pay, and connect freely across cultures.
