The HKUST Entrepreneurship Center officially kicked off the Fall 2026 cohort of its flagship Entrepreneurship 101 Training Program last week, welcoming a new group of aspiring student founders to the 10-week boot camp.
Designed specifically for complete startup beginners, the intensive programme runs from 2 September to 19 November 2026 and serves as a launchpad to turn raw curiosity into real-world business impact.

The curated 10-week curriculum is systematically built to take aspiring student founders from absolute ground zero to venture-ready, covering ideation and foundation (design thinking and business modeling), startup essentials (IP protection, legal frameworks, and compliance), growth and go-to-market (digital marketing and go-to-market strategies), and culminating in a final pitch session where students present their business proposals to real investors.

At the end of the 10 weeks, students will pitch their own business proposals. Outstanding teams will gain direct access to the HKUST entrepreneurship ecosystem, coaching, resources, and funding opportunities to actually build their company right here on campus.
A huge thank you to Prof. Carrie Ling, Director of the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center, for launching this cohort, and a warm welcome to all our fresh minds.
