【#Entrepreneurship_Perspective】 - The social value of entrepreneurship - We always encounter many different entrepreneurial opportunities. Perhaps it comes of a sudden; an impressive idea crosses your mind, or a new technology breakthrough developed in a team. It may also initiate the business plan regarding our daily observations, or even our expectations to the world.

In this #Entrepreneurship_Perspective, it is describing an idea about recycling bread in an environmentally friendly approach; and a social enterprise start-up promoted through consultation and network building.

In recent years, we see more submitted proposals not only focusing on technology and a profit-making business model but also on creating values for society. The HKUST Entrepreneurship Center has been actively promoting "social entrepreneurship" to facilitate students’ entrepreneurship development. We encourage students to integrate commercialization with social innovation, offering advice as to how social innovation projects can attain long-term business sustainability.
