Dr. I-Ming Hsing is the Professor and the former Head of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research interests lie in the interface of molecular engineering, materials engineering, molecular biology, data science, and healthcare, in particular in the areas of nucleic acid-based bioengineering and disposable, wearable and skin-adherent biosensors.

FLASH Diagnostics is a biotechnology company specialized in point-of-care veterinary molecular diagnostics, founded by my former PhD students Dr. Xiao Lu and Dr. Alan Rodriguez in June 2022.
