I came from Indonesia to Hong Kong in 2015 to pursue my Bachelor's degree at HKUST. I chose chemical engineering as my major with the interest of working/contributing/making a useful and impactful product. This project started from the research work I was working on the nanomembrane material during my final year. Recognizing its significant potential impact, I chose to develop it further here as the facilities and the ecosystem allowed me to build up my team and make it to become a useful & valuable product for many people.

We're developing an ultra-thin skin patch aimed at monitoring health conditions through sweat biomarkers and transmitting this information in real-time to a mobile app, offering a non-invasive and continuous solution. Unlike existing wearables that primarily focus on electrophysiological sensing (e.g. heart rate, temperature, and SpO2), ours digs deeper. We're talking about checking out your metabolites, electrolytes, hormones, proteins – stuff you'd normally need hospital/blood tests for.
